On the morning of October 23, Khanazov, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Justice and President of the National Law University of Tashkent, gave a speech on the topic of“Strengthening Sino-Uzbekistan Legal Service Cooperation and Providing Legal Support for Economic and Trade Cooperation between the Two Countries.” Hu Yuen, Dean of the School of Economic Law, presided over the lecture.
Starting from the reform of the judicial system of Uzbekistan, Kanazov introduced the latest progress of Uzbekistan in the practice of lawyers, the legal consultation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the establishment of mediation agencies. He pointed out that Uzbekistan and China have grown in trade volume in recent years, and currently 1,100 Chinese companies have invested in Uzbekistan. The benign growth of trade requires the escort of the law. Uzbekistan is a signatory to several international commercial treaties, and its ranking in the national investment environment assessment has also increased year by year.
