        On the morning of December 28, Li Yue, vice president of China Economic Information Department of Xinhua News Agency, Chen Yu, deputy general manager of Xinhua Silk Road Business Department, and Qiu Feijun, assistant director of Xinhua News Agency (Shanghai Center for Economic Information), visited SHUPL. Wu Qiang, deputy Party Secretary of SHUPL and executive director of the Shanghai Global Security Governance Research Institute met Li Yue and her party. 

        Wu Qiang introduced the construction and development achievements of CNISCO. Wu Qiang pointed out that the school will further integrate high-quality resources inside and outside the school, focus on the three core functions of training, think tanks and forums, and concentrate on building the four highlands of discipline construction, talents cultivation, legal services and document information, and strive to build CNISCO into a high-end platform to serve the national strategy . In this process, the support and assistance of Xinhua News Agency is especially needed to further expand the influence.

        Li Yue introduced the basic information of Xinhua News Agency China Economic Information Department and Xinhua Silk Road. Li Yue pointed out that CNISCO and Xinhua News Agency have many things in common: they are high-end think tanks, all based on their own characteristics and serving national strategies, all playing an important role in local economic and social development. In the future, Xinhua News Agency China Economic Information Department and Xinhua Silk Road will focus on promoting cooperation with CNISCO in the fields of think tank construction, publicity and business training.

        The heads of various departments of the two sides further explored the  specific measures for in-depth cooperation, and proposed ideas for the framework of future strategic cooperation. The visiting guests watched the publicity video of CNISCO and had a group photo taken.
