On the morning of November 8, 2019, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law and the International Cooperation Bureau of Yangling Demonstration Zone co-hosted a symposium at the International Conference Center of CNISCO. Li Jiuhong, Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Yangling Demonstration Zone met with Liu Xiaohong, President of SHUPL and conducted negotiation on cooperation during the visit. Shi Qibao, Director of the Development Planning Department of SHUPL, Chen Xiao, Director of the Training Department of CNISCO, Wei Chuancheng, Executive Deputy Director of Strategic Planning Department of CNISCO, Ding Yunbao, Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Department of CNISCO, and Wang Yajuan, Deputy Director of Cooperation Department attended the symposium.
Liu Xiaohong warmly welcomed the arrival of Li Jiuhong and expressed her expectation to build a platform for mutual learning and communication through this symposium. She also gave general introduction to SHUPL and CNISCO.
Li Jiuhong said, this year President Xi Jinping announced at the SCO Bishkek Summit to establish SCO Demonstration Centre for Agricultural Technologies Exchange and Training. Yangling assumes great responsibility. As the first national agricultural high-tech industry demonstration zone in China and the only free trade zone with distinctive agricultural characteristics among all pilot free trade zones of China, Yangling Demonstration Zone hopes to cooperate with CNISCO in various fields, further learn the relevant experience from CNISCO, and improve the design, construction, management and operation of SCO Demonstration Centre for Agricultural Technologies Exchange and Training.
